Pegasus - Cargo Claims Management Investigate, analyze and process cargo claims for loss, damage and delay to determine the company's liability and measure of (cost) damage or loss.  Evaluate policies, contracts, tariffs, and special pricing agreements submitted by company sales personnel on behalf of existing and potential customers.  Communicate with company clients, transportation carriers, consultants, claim representatives and insurance brokers nationwide regarding the interpretation, negotiation, and administration of pricing arrangements, Terms and Conditions and various insurance policies.  Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring cost-effective cargo/loss control programs and procedures. Provide training and support relating to cargo loss control and Policy/Contract Interpretation for all U.S and International employees. Conduct major carrier/trucker claims education programs in effort to identify problems and implement loss control solutions.  Develop and distribute a Cargo Loss Control Procedures and monitor utilization for compliance. Process certificates of insurance.  Coordinate the annual collection of underwriting and audit information for renewal submissions to broker/carriers. Receive, check, and maintain insurance policies.Pegasus -Insurance Responsible for the selection, management and processes of all insurance policies, surety bonds, invoices, audits and claims within compliance of underwriting guidelines nationally.  Maintain and manage relationships with underwriters, intermediaries, bondholders, customers, and suppliers Participate in formulating and implementing administrative, operational and customer relations, policies and procedures.  Monitor insurance conditions and trends to recognize alternative funding requirements Act as liaison, consulting with Executive Team, to decide on legal course of action between company and legal counsel on all suits and litigated claims.

Pegasus -Business Continuity; Regulatory Compliance and Safety Provide critical information and guidance to all internal departments in order to ensure continuity of business in the event of an interruption or disaster.  Develop, oversee, audit, and communicate security, safety and disaster recovery policies to ensure effectiveness and compliance as needed to maintain a secure organization.  Monitor laws and regulations affecting the organization's policies and environment including OSHA, FDA, DOT, FMSCA, TSA and other regulatory agencies. Maintain all company FMCSA operating authorities. Manage, coordinate, and deliver internal compliance-related training.Pegasus -Facilities Management and Safety Provide oversight for internal Safety Policies and Guidelines and ensure employee awareness and training.  Assist Executive Team with the development and implementation of workplace safety and compliance.  Review and approve contractor/vendor invoices. Ensure facility budgetary guidelines are in place and costs are kept in line with budget.  Coordinate all facility repairs and maintenance needed in building. Develop and implement fire and emergency evacuation plan and ensure employees adherence.  Oversee yearly building inspections (i.e. building and alarm permits, fire extinguisher recharge schedules).  Research, interview, and hire vendors for the facility.  Oversee pre-lease assessment of building acquisitions and serve as primary point of contact for the property management team, lawyers, attorneys and brokers.

 Handle Catastrophe claims with loss severity from light to light-moderate including coverage investigations and policy interpretation.  Evaluate and negotiate estimates within the scope of damages.  Interpret and apply the principles of replacement cost value versus actual cash value.  Explain coverage of loss and assisted policyholders with itemization of damages, emergency repairs and additional living arrangements.  Coordinated vendor services such as contractors, emergency repair, cleaning services and various replacement services.
