This included internal promotions, the retrenchment of one role and creation of new roles to allow segregation of duties and to support planned business growth.• System Improvements: Identified the need for new systems to replace outdated and non-existent manual processes to enable the company to be compliant and in line with company policies and procedures. Project managed and implemented the following systems:o ProSpend – New Expense Management system online and via App.o Blackline – New balance sheet reconciliation Tool. o Corporate Card Banking Module – Establish a new corporate credits cards facility within NAB. o RedMap – AP Automation. • People Management: Ensured a smooth transition of the AP, Payroll and Management Accountant functions to Perth. This involved hiring of new staff in Perth, retrenching 1 staff member in Darwin, assisting 1 Adelaide staff member in a physical relocation to Perth and developing transition plans out of the business for the remaining Adelaide staff for their redundancies.

Achievements• P&L & Budget Management: Developed and implemented the SkyCity Adelaide Strategic Business Plan and Budgets both operational and capex from FY16 to FY23• Reporting & Compliance: Completed and reviewed the preparation of the management and statutory accounts, assisted in the preparation of the Annual Report, managed all regulatory compliance including FBT Returns, BAS Returns, Gaming Tax and Tax Returns for SkyCity Adelaide• System Implementation: An integral part of the Project Team to change and implement a new finance system from Peoplesoft to Microsoft Dynamics 365• Leadership: Managed the management accounting team and the Accounts Payable Department for 5 years including implementing a new system Microsoft Dynamics 365. Ensured all suppliers (operational and capex) were paid on time including during the pandemic when the business was shut and during the $330m expansion building phase dealing with building contractors and new suppliers.• Cashflow: Managed the cashflow for SkyCity, including overseeing all payments made to internal and external customers and suppliers, including payroll, player payments and all AP/AR payments.• Resilience: Dealt with the COVID pandemic, which included a series of reforecasting and new budgets due to multiple shutdowns of the business being a non-essential industry. Dealings with compliance and statutory obligations including applying for subsidies from Local and State Government around rate reductions for land tax, council rates, payroll tax, gaming tax and applications to the ATO for Job Keeper.
