Alcatel-Lucent 8670 Generic User Profile (GUP) is the central provisioning and customer-management interface for all subscriber-profile data in the IMS infrastructure like HSS and IMS applications. It is compliant with 3GPP GUP specifications and enables harmonized usage of the user-related information located in different Network Elements in any domain. Understanding of the CSCs (Proxy, Interrogating, Serving) and different Application Servers of the IMS networks like Feature Server 5K, PCM, etc there by provisioning the different services like Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Call Barring, etc. As an extension of the profile provisioning, E2E testing is done by doing a SIP call and thereby checking the SIP messages.Responsibility:• As a Test Project Leader, Responsible for preparing the Test Documentation plan, Test Strategy, planning of manpower allocation and tracking. • Systems Documents Review• Responsible for preparing the test specifications and executing the test cases.• Lead Tester from ALCATEL Chennai, responsible for Acceptance and System Integration Testing.• User Profile with Gateways, Endpoints, etc are provisioned in various servers in the IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) network (HSS (USDS), Application Servers like FS5K, PCM, AGCF, etc) using GUI with SQL & mysql databases and XML in UNIX SOLARIS environment.• Application testing of GUP Inter-operability with USDS(Universal Subscriber Data Server), AGCF, etc.• Have done extensive testing with End-to-End scenarios.• SIP call flow is tested using VOICE Tools.• Following features were tested: Call Forwarding (CFU, CFB, CFNR), Call Hold, Call Transfer, etc.
