Main project features: The Transforming School Education as the Foundation of Knowledge Hub Project (TSEP) builds on the lessons learned from the Education Sector Development Project (ESDP), which has helped build the capacity of the Ministry of Education, Finance Commission and Provincial Ministries of Education. Activities Performed:  Preparation of investment proposals to develop ICT infrastructure under the proposed Education Sector Development Project. Requirements analysis of Education Management Information systems infrastructure deign including Financial MIS, Human Resources MIS, Statistical MIS and Inventory MIS for the Provincial Education system Design and implementation of training program for teachers on maintaining IT labs. Over 300 provincial teachers from the North Central, Eastern, Uva and North Central provinces trained and skills development program undertaken. Providing technical and financial feasibility analysis for proposed IT investments (cost benefit, what if analysis, ROI, statistical analysis etc.) for provincial IT infrastructure investment. Project planning, resource estimation, budgeting and forecasting Procurement process management. Member of Technical Evaluation Committee Needs assessments/auditing, requirement analysis, requirement specifications review Preparation of Human resources development plans, budgeting, training content development, training and development of the IT cadre at provincial level. Monitoring, evaluation and post implementation audits of IT development programmers Key resource person for training and implementation of Results Based Management and Monitoring system in all provinces in Sri Lanka. Trained over 1500 government official trained in RBMS.  Work with the ICTA to provide provincial level training on ICTA e-government project. training over 500 provincial officials ICTA e-government projects and how provinces can linkup to this project.

Appointed Member of Technical Evaluation Committee for IT procurements. Implementation of web based monitoring and financial tracking system. This system covered Sri Lank with over 150 individual sites (in various locations in every provincial council) implementations and WAN connections. The system involved the training of over 3000 personnel. training plans and training strategy development, implementation and monitoring.

Acitivites Performed: Analyse, Design, Develop and deploy the turnkey IT solution for tracking individual IDP based housing grants, cash re-imbursements, and tracking progress of IDP houses being constructed. The system generated all necessary financial reports on inflow to the project and from the government of Sri Lanka, tracked expenditure and generated output reports for the project.Systems implementation using ASP.NET, web services, MS-SQL.Developed training materials and conducted training programs for the end users.

System implemented to include major investment sectors of education, health, roads, irrigation etc.  User training program design and implementation in all provinces over 500 personnel trained. Post implementation review.

As part of institutional strengthening of three revenue departments – Inland Revenue, Customs and Excise, a Revenue Administration Management Information System (RAMIS) and Treasury Management System is being designed and procured.Acitivites Performed:  Provide technical support for the Project office and ADB to conduct the international workshop on Public Financial Management Information (PMIS) Provide strategic inputs on the broad public financial management systems design of the proposed solution and advisory services on implementation of a computerised Public Financial Management Information (PMIS) System for the Government of Sri Lanka Resource person on e-governance initiatives in the provinces. Was appointed member of the Technical Evaluation Team for procurement of the PMIS
