In stealth mode working on the next idea, in the use of tech for furthering specific agendas in non-profit.I've spent the better part of 18 years building data-native applications that span industries and geographies. Most recently, I was Co-founder and Chief Digital Officer at Lentra. I continue to advise Lentra on strategy, and am keen to engage with startups in an advisory capacity.I also continue to teach for IIT Madras on Big Data.Started & bootstrapped a multi-million dollar AI solutions company, TheDataTeam, that Lentra successfully acquired in 2022.Before starting TheDataTeam, I served as Principal Consultant, Big Data at Teradata Corporation, where my role was to help multinational companies adopt data science at scale on best-of-breed platforms. My journey at Teradata began with the acquisition of Aster Data Systems, where I was a founding engineer and co-invented a landmark pattern recognition algorithm.In the past, I have been awarded the Distinguished Engineer (R&D) and Consulting Excellence awards from Teradata. Many moons ago, I got a M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan in 2006 and a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Madras in 2004.
