Design / Fabrication Intern For 2013 Annual Fashion ShowMaine College Of Art Jan 2013 - Apr 2013Maine College Of ArtDuring this Internship I worked with Professor Adam Manley and Event Coordinator Erin Hutton to design and fabricate a set or serving bars and a stage backdrop for Maine College of Art's first annual fashion show. I created a system of modular plastic panels that could be connected to form rigid structures. The serving bars were created in two sizes and used hidden lighting to showcase products from an event sponsor. The stage backdrop used plastic panels similar to the bars to create a dramatic environment to showcase fashions under the show theme "four seasons in a day." Both the bars and the wall were designed and engineered to be repurposed for future school events.
