Holds a bachelor of Arts, English department (Linguistics & Translation section) in 1997 from Alexandria University in Egypt. . Obtained a “Board Development Accredited Diploma” from Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. in USA (ISS) in 2007. Obtained Corporate Secretary Diploma from the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EIoD) in 2008, Risk Management diploma from The American University in Cairo in 2009 & Accredited Investor Relations diploma from the Egyptian Institute of Directors in 2014. Has more than 20 years of experience in the field of management and more than 15 years of experience in the field of Corporate Governance, Board & Board Committees’ Corporate Secretary as well as Corporate Social Responsibility. Training consultant at the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EIoD) , Hawkamah Institute (Dubai) . Lectured many training courses both in Arabic & in English in various fields : corporate governance, effective communication skills, effective boards and board committees, corporate secretary, how to prepare annual reports as well as effective disclosures. In 2015, was chosen among nine other Corporate Governance experts in Egypt to prepare “Egypt’s Amended Corporate Governance Code” which was issued by the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EIoD) and approved by the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) in 2016. The Code acts as a guideline to all types of companies in Egypt applying Corporate Governance practices.
