I am a co-founder and President of Dawaer foundation. Dawaer is a non-governmental, not for profit, non- partisan organization established in 2015 by a team of motivated female activists who build on their extensive diverse experiences to reach a democratic peaceful society respectful of human rights. Dawaer works with educational institutions, families and communities to enhance child and youth rights and freedom of expression and protect youth from violence. Dawaer also works with decision makers to lobby for laws that enhance youth and human rights.

I am in instructor at Modern University for Business and sciences, Social and Education Faculty, where I take decisions about the course including: designing the course, developing the syllabus based on learning objectives; planning and developing objectives for each class, constructing tests, preparing materials, grading assignments.

Since Feb 2017 till present, I have been the head of Makassed Communal Healthcare Bureau, where we always seek to ensure that the centers are offering a high quality, cost- efficient and effective healthcare services to patients and their families through 5 Primary Healthcare Centers, as well as in 3 Mobile Medical Units. These centers provide a wide variety of different types of healthcare and social services based on the population needs of each area. We provide prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Preventive healthcare services:• School health program• Child vaccinationHealth promotion:• Awareness raising sessions• Peer to peer education• Health social campaignsDiagnostic services:• Laboratory tests• X-ray and echoDisease management and treatment:• Medical consultations• Provision of medicationsMental Health:• Psychological individual and group interventions Oral and dental healthMaternal and child care services including delivery:In terms of reducing complications of childbirth and maternal mortality for a safe delivery, The Mother and Child initiative in Wadi Khaled – Northern Lebanon was launched in 2004 for Lebanese mothers in collaboration with MOPH to provide essential healthcare in addition to provide normal deliveries free of charge with 40 days follow-up for 380 women. I actively engaged in planning and monitoring the execution of school health program for 33 schools which include the eight separate components of the comprehensive school health program: school environment; health education; health services; physical education; counseling, guidance and mental health; school food and nutrition services; worksite health promotion; and integration of school and community health activities. Added to that, I am monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the projects supported by the International NGOs as UNFPA, INTERSOS, OCHA, HelpAge, BMZ etc…

I worked for 17 years at Rafik Hariri Foundation – DHSS as head of social health services department,within a team of high caliber health professionals, where I developed and implemented administrative policies and procedures to ensure that the department continues to operate efficiently and effectively, provides the effective promotion and marketing strategies for the foundation, planned and prepared projects according to the community needs, directed and monitored the work and resources of the social health department within the 38 PHCs, built and strengthened client-worker relationships to ensure a high level confidence and evaluated the patient’s satisfaction and suggestions to implement tailored activities and projects.

From 2002 to 2004, I worked as Assistant General Manager /Chairman at Rafik Hariri Governmental University where I assisted the GM / Chairman in organizing, planning and implementing strategies, budgeting, expenses control and HR management, working with the GM / Chairman in coordinating and supervising daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
