An intern-driven internship intended to equip interns with the technical stack necessary in the data-science field from an industrial point of view. It introduces interns to version control, Agile (scrum/kanban), Flask, cloud (Heroku ) and API deployment. The internship also enforces using good data ingestion practices such as providing data intake reports, softcoding and schema validation. These concepts are all practiced through graded deliverables, but at the heart of all tasks is responsibilities that focus on addressing business problems by compiling data through EDA or supervised predictive models and turning it into insights to reach informed decisions. The projects’ deliveries focus on using visualization to convey the findings of complicated data in a straightforward fashion.

Egypt

- Published conference paper “LTE primary user modeling using a hybrid ARIMA/NARX neural network model in cognitive radio” in IEEE-WCNC and presented my work as the first author in the conference held in SF in 2017. The paper proposes a hybrid supervised-learning model to predictspectrum occupancy.- The theme of my research work: Applying state-of-the-art techniques (ANN, NOMA, CR) to tackle traditional communication problems (spectrum occupancy, low-3g-coverage indoors)- Research topics: Artificial neural networks, genetic algorithm, swarm optimization, cognitive radio and non-orthogonal multiple access.- Professional Membership: IEEE Student membership- Worked on the preparation of optimization recipes and manuals of 9 central tools used for the lithography process in the clean room lab (nanotechnology research center main facility)- Chosen –among two RAs- to receive specialized training from the mother companies on equipment to start prototyping preliminary production in the clean room and train fellow researchers and undergrads.

- Trainee for Radio frequency (2 months). Regional operations, Technology department, Vodafone Egypt- Evaluated as an "Exceeding Expectations" trainee- Worked on the following tasks: 2G & 3G sites activation, frequency retuning, repeaters' pool, cells/sectors expansion, 2G expansion (hard & soft expansion) and traffic tracing & control.
