The learning director and lead facilitator of the Be2aty project's educational component. This project builds on the local and international efforts to empower youth in becoming active citizens and tackling diverse environmental problems in their communities on the one hand, and to enhance the capacity of Egyptian civil society organizations and social enterprises to strengthen their service provision and ability to further support youth on the other. This is envisioned to happen through the partnership of three European Union and three Egyptian partners.

Forum Theater for Community Empowerment WorkshopsDesigning and facilitating forum theater workshops for migrant and Egyptian women in Cairo and Alexandria.About the workshop:Forum Theater workshop for Women’s Empowermentthe workshop will be held over the course of 6 days during which we will practice a range of drama games and exercises that promote spontaneity, expressiveness and critical thinking. Through Image Theatre and Forum Theatre we will question and examine the norms, values and behaviors that affect women.Particular emphasis will be given to addressing the impact of sexual and gender based violence (SGBV) in our daily lives. Together we will find and rehearse actions that promote greater health, wellbeing, solidarity and empowerment. We will also develop skills in listening, dialogue, creative expression and collective problem solving. The program involves extensive movement, play, improvisation and enactment. Prior experience with these modalities is not required.

Offers seven days intensive training to migrant youth community on: Self Awareness, Coping and Culture, Regulation of emotions and bodily reactions to stress, Self-care and Awareness of Gender Based Violence.

Raniah is currently a fellow of the CrossCulture Programme by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen.) The fellowship is taking place at KURINGA. KURINGA is Space for Theatre of the Oppressed and has been existing since 2011 in Berlin-Wedding. KURINGA is part of international networks such as the European network TOgether, the global feminist Ma(g)dalena International Network and the Latin American network ReLATO. She has finished the Kuringa qualification course as part of her fellowship which led to the creation of a public forum theater production “Neighbors: Democratic Dialogue in the Time of War” that was staged and is planned to be staged again at different theaters in Oct-Nov 2022 .

-Assesses, prioritizes, selects, and initiate projects and programs that are guided with the hub framework and strategic plan.-Oversees the management and implementation of two main international funding projects that serve the creation of a learning hub for youth aged 15-30. -Acts as a design lead for different programs and facilitate multiple topics such as: professional development, peacebuilding, conflict resolution, life skills, well-being, applied drama for community empowerment.-Re-innovated the documentation processes in the hub resulting is producing 5 publications and 3 videos in two years.-Founder of Tekrar and Al-Siyaq Programs.-Acts as one of the core team of designers and facilitators of Alwan wa Awtar Educator School (2020).

John D. Gerhart Center for Philanthropy and Civic Engagement, the American University in Cairo, USAID, JSI & Ma’an Regional Network of Universities Mentor/CoachStrengthening Egypt’s Family Planning Program: The project aims to both work on empowering Egypt’s family planning system and raise awareness on the issue. For a year, a competition between university students will be held after they work on creative awareness campaigns on the issue. Throughout the program, the students will get exposed to technical and non-technical capacity building workshops from the field’s leading mentors.

Role: Co-leading 3 workshops (6 days each) practicing a range of drama games and exercises that promote spontaneity, expressiveness and critical thinking. Dawar's practitioners include artists, educators, psychotherapists and health workers from Egypt and abroad. Dawar offers a range of initiatives that promote creativity, critical thinking, civic engagement and community cohesion.

TAQADDAM: Taqaddam is a Life Skills programme for young people in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Taqaddam, Arabic for ‘moving forward’ supports young people to move forward with confidence into the future with the skills they need to flourish in life, work and society.Role:-Delivers informative and engaging training to teachers and alumni students. -Delivers inspiring, interactive large-scale workshops to young people in Egypt and Kuwait (most are 15-16 years old but in some cases ages can range up to mid 20’s) -Supports ongoing project monitoring, evaluation and learning.-Adapts materials and approaches to different contexts and needs.

Tashbeek Program The program aimed to engage a cohort of 100 university students in an online course as well as in-person exchange sessions that focus on providing knowledge and concepts in the area of conflict resolution and peaceful thinking. -Managed and reported the last phase of Safarni project with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) under the theme of social cohesion in Ardellewa, Cairo.-Planned and led Safarni project in Alexandria as a continuation for the IOM partnership.-Designed and led Safarni first diversity festival which gathered kids and families (Egyptians and migrants) from Ardellewa to celebrate their diversity and the theme of co- existence.

The Cairo Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences CILAS invites students from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds to engage with the liberal arts through a pedagogy of discovery. CILAS hosts a dynamic, discussion-based learning environment conducive to creative inquiry, self-reflection, and civic engagement. Co-creation of knowledge at CILAS is fostered through classroom discussion and debate, workshops, musical performances, guest lectures, field visits, cooking, laughing, and listening. A co-fellow (Teaching assistant) in the field of humanities provides students with an intellectual foundation to engage in analytical discussions, creative inquiry, collaboration, and debate over the first trimester of the year long study program and hosts two courses over the second and the third trimester.
