Rachel Ranieri Email and Phone Number
A passionate, determined, and caring individual with experience in leadership and human relations. I am a trained CNA (California), seeking an entry level position to gain experience in the healthcare setting. I recently completed my B.A. in International Development Studies at McGill University, but my ultimate aspiration is to one day obtain a Masters in Nursing and to use my skills in healthcare and international development to serve underprivileged communities abroad. In my free time I enjoy climbing, baking, backpacking, and travel. I am a strong believer in the value of continual learning and self improvement, and relish the opportunity to learn new skills, understand other cultures, and master new languages. My ideal job is one which challenges my problem solving abilities and provides me with the opportunity to interact with members of the public and further my knowledge.During my time at university, I have volunteered in the ER and later the ICU at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Having seen the difference I can make in the lives of patients and their families simply by lending a ear and performing small tasks such as fetching a tired family member a glass of water, these experiences have taught me the paramount importance of compassionate care giving for healthcare workers. At the moment I am also employed as the Volunteer Director at Quidditch Canada, a relatively young sports organization dedicated to promoting quidditch in Canada. This position has helped me develop my leadership and communication skills as well as a strong understanding of interpersonal relations and creative problem solving.
