I am a qualified hotelier with 1st class honors in Food and Beverage operations from The SLITHM and a Post Graduate in OCLD, New Delhi, India. Experienced in handling multi national teams with almost 10 years of overseas working experience. Worked with highly rated chains such as Six Senses and Soneva Resorts, Oberoi Hotels, Taj group of hotels, Aitken Spence and John Keells group. I have held positions of responsibility such as Assistant Resort Manager with an Aitken Spence Property overseas, Director of F&B in what is considered as one of the most luxurious properties, again a positing out of Sri Lanka as well. I was the 1st F&B Manager for award winning Soneva Gili by Six Senses. In addition I have held positions such as the Director for Training for John Keells city properties (Cinnamon Grand and Lake side) and the Resident Managers position at 300 room Taj Samudra amongst other responsibilities.Used to be a keen student of Astronomy (studied under a former NASA instructor), and continues to be an ardent Rugby fan following the international and the local rugby scene closely. A strong orientation to team sports making me understand the importance of synergizing. Coming from a sporting family background, I have placed myself in the winners podium many a times in the All island swimming championships. Strong believer in teams. Networking. Socializing.
