Managing Year End Reporting for Sovereign Insurance

Prepare statutory financial accounts and subsidiary information for various Investment Trusts Companies ensuring timely and accurate delivery to agreed timetables and SLA standards and ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards, relevant SORPs and other regulationsPrepare schedules and information in relation to Investment Trust’s board meetings ensuring timely and accurate delivery to agreed timetables and SLA standardsProvide technical support for the NAV calculation and fund accounting processing functionsComplete monthly audit reviews to validate the accuracy of accounting recordsPrepare / review income forecastsPrepare / review ad-hoc reporting and calculation requirements in support of Client fund requirements in accordance with SLA standards Liaise with internal and external parties relevant to Trust deliverables (includes clients, auditors, tax consultants and others). Ensure effective recording and resolution of external / internal queriesBe aware of the risks of team operations and deliverables and assist in their management ensuring required controls maintained and compliance with proceduresWhere appropriate or required deputise for Senior Investment Trust accountants and provide cover and support for Pricing Accountants and for other Investment Trust teamsOther project work and ad-hoc tasks as required

Completion of financial reporting relating to the BNZ Markets business including Disclosure Statement reporting.Ensuring the BNZ Markets Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet are accurately reflected in the Bank’s financial reporting. Owning the month end and planning processes, Balance Sheet reconciliations and completion of various schedules and templates providing explanations of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet moves.Review of monthly P&L outputs and preparation of monthly reporting/board packs and commentary for Senior Management and NAB Group.Management reporting for the BNZ Markets businesses including revenue driver analysis, expense review, planning and forecasting and KPI monitoring.Primary interface to the Business for ad hoc requests from Senior Management, BNZ Finance and NAB Group for additional analysis or information.Ad-Hoc projects as required.
