• Set regular Preventive Maintenance plans & schedules.• Troubleshooting and Maintenance of all Electrical equipments of ‘state-of-the-art’ Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) Complex.• Strive for enhancing the uptime of the PICKLINING LINE, DEGREASING LINE, COIL PREPARATION LINE ,6HI MILL 1&2 AND ANNEALING BASES• Do the RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and prepare 5W-1H for breakdowns.• Spares Management, Liaison with Purchase / Stores dept for the same.• Sources development for Import substitution.• Strengthen the ‘Support processes’ under TBEM (Tata Business Excellence Model) guidelines. Analyze failure and work on how to prevent it further.• Active participation in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), a Japanese system of Management. Activities include executing Kaizens, preparation of OPLs (One Point Les-sons) and look after the Planned maintenance module.• Prepare and implement Annual Business Plan (ABP), Annual Budget of the dept. for replacing/maintenance requirement and envisage plant upgrade / redesign, prepare speci-fication for the same and overhauls & shutdown planning & supervision.• Ensure all machinery is properly & effectively maintained and is operated properly in order to effectively and efficiently achieve production plan and surpass targets.Ensure safe and secure working conditions & look after environmental hazards by in-troducing the Positive Isolation.
