Ranjan a Mechanical Engineer, former research fellow at Gandhi fellowship and SSE India fellow have been intrigued to find solutions to address the education, employment, and opportunities gap in rural India especially in the village he belongs to and other surrounding villages in Cooch Behar. He aspires to set up an enterprise that can provide decent financial stability through upskilling and building capacities of youth in the domain of agriculture. He is focused to start by plotting a road map of how he intends to execute his first pilot.In his own words, Ranjan describes, "I am committed to finding solutions to the financial woes of my village. Many villagers depend on agriculture, yet they have been facing shrinking returns. I am determined to work towards helping them increase their income and lead a financially prosperous life. Currently, these people are not able to make decent survival wages, making it difficult to cover their basic needs."
