    Research Assistant
Department Of Agroecology, Aarhus University Jan 2017 - Jul 2017
Life Cycle Assessment of mixed crop-livestock system with alternate feed protein production from a green biorefinery (GBR). An ideal integrated mixed farming system was considered to investigate the potential of minimizing the environmental footprints of combined production of pigs and cattle. Production system included products: both live weight of pigs and cattle, and green protein (via processing grasses in a GBR) and biomethane (conversion of animal waste and residual flows of GBR to biogas and then to biomethane). Alternative scenarios of waste conversion included conversion of biogas to bioelectricity in a combined heat and power plant.
