Growing up, I was always passionate about a diverse range of things, from science and technology, to social impact, to sports and art. It is only later that I realized that founding an NGO was fuelled with my appetite for creating impact and backed by my ability to lead projects.Having captained the college badminton team, and having been a coach for leadership training, really equipped me with the confidence to partner with a British consulting firm setting up in India. This aligned well with my quest for bringing and enabling the best technology businesses to India. I then began to understand the fragmented landscape of the Indian business eco-system, and with my various interactions with bureaucrats and diplomats, I realized that my real niche is in bridging Western business expectations with Indian potential.Although it has been over 10 years since my masters in Nanotechnology, I do wish to be a part of the growth story of the Indian deep tech industry. After having worked with a few electronics manufacturing clusters in India, I have also done a course on public policy with the ambition to be equipped with multiple skills for enabling electronics tech to excel in India. I strongly believe we are sitting on a goldmine, which is yet to be uncovered. And I am ever hungry to keep learning.
