Developed a broad portfolio of Inter Layer Dielectric Films including nitrides, oxides, low k materials, and anti-reflective coatings using PE-CVD process. - Project lead for the successful development of a stable silane-based FSG film which was cheaper than TEOS FSG film being used in production.- Developed low temperature oxide and nitride films with.

Investigated the problem of determining true film hardness and elastic modulus values from nanoindentation data of film/substrate composites.Selected the appropriate film/substrate composites.Deposited the films by DC magnetron sputtering.Characterized the films using XRD, AFM and stress measurement.Conducted Nanoindentation experiments.Explored existing.

Research focused on the structural and mechanical characterization of two new nitride hard coatings: Ta(N) and Cr-Ta-N. Deposited films by DC Magnetron sputtering.Characterized the structure of the films by XRD and measured stress in the films.Determined mechanical properties of the film using Nanoindentaion.
