As the videographer it's my job to manage all of Southwest Mobile Storage's social media accounts across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter). Creating fun and engaging reels and content out of a topic like shipping containers takes a level of creativity that cannot be taught - and I'm proud to say I've been able to do that here. I conceptualize, film, and edit short-form videos to post 1-2 time per week on social media along with other posts. Within 90 days of starting at Southwest Mobile Storage, I've doubled our impressions on LinkedIn and Instagram, and those numbers continue to climb as I drive up audience engagement. I also wear other hats on the marketing team, gladly taking on new projects such as researching publications to place ads in and tracking calls and form submissions from leads.

I freelance with this nonprofit organization to create videos for their programs as well as promotional videos for their Power UP Conference. I was also the Community Manager for both their 2021 Can+Will summer intensive program as well as the Take The Lead Academy.

At Real Vision, I have a thorough knowledge of the publishing process for videos on the website and podcasts via Megaphone, including ad placements within the podcast episodes. I also find and pitch guests, book guests, organize the podcast production process, source content for promoting the podcast episodes on social media, and edit together multicam videos of the interviews. I am involved from start to finish in the podcast production process, and am also skilled at booking guests and editing videos.

I worked with their production team to suggest themes, ideas, and creative direction for the podcast and episodes of Leader Voices. I storyboarded their podcast. I also wrote and collaborated on blog content for Leader Stories and suggested ideas to promote content on social media.

Arizona PBS prime-time TV show hosted by Vanessa Ruiz. I worked with executive producer Steve Filmer.This was my Cronkite professional program (capstone) that I did in spring and fall 2020. I shot interviews and edited together episodes, as well as identified potential stories for future episodes.

I helped facilitate Take The Lead Women's summer program, 50 Women Can Change the World in Journalism and acted as their Zoom producer for sessions. I also joined their 2020 cohort via invitation from Gloria Feldt.

I occasionally dabble in videography, and I've realized I quite like making videos. I've taken a multimedia journalism class in Spring 2017 and I'm taking a videography class in the Fall 2017 semester. I also took Advanced Online Media in Spring 2019 and made videos to go with my honors thesis. Here are some videos I have made!

As the Nonfiction Editor for Lux, I selected and edited creative nonfiction pieces fir the 2019 edition of the yearly publication. I also managed the Lux social media and planned events, including the big annual magazine release party.

I wrote long-form magazine stories what culture, science and tech, and anything interesting to students at Arizona State University.

As a digital production intern working with the features side of The Arizona Republic, I had a variety of duties ranging from prepping stories for publication and creating galleries and videos to go with them, to getting the weekly box office records, book signings, events, and community exports ready. I was praised by Wendy Killeen for being detail-oriented, a fast learner, and for having diligence, patience and an on-your-feet "can do" attitude.

As the Poetry Reviewer for Lux Undergraduate Creative Review, I helped select poetry to be published in that year's magazine.

I was an intern at CAR for the Fall 2017 semester. This internship is for students interested in Asia and digital media, allowing students to explore the extent of the usage and development of digital media in Asian countries. During my time there, I was the Twitter manager and I was assigned South Asia as my area of focus. My duties, therefore, were to find news and articles from news media in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, that seemed important and/or related to digital media.
