I am Ranjan, a seasoned Monitoring and Evaluation professional with over 25 years of experience in program management, program design, surveys, evaluations, and organizational learning for humanitarian and development agencies.Currently based in Bangladesh, I am honored to serve as the Country Representative for the Swedish Red Cross. In this role, I am dedicated to leading initiatives that contribute to the well-being of communities and individuals in need. My responsibilities also include strengthening the national society in Bangladesh, ensuring that it is equipped to respond effectively to challenges and emergencies.Previously, I served as the Deputy Regional Director for the American Red Cross, where I played a pivotal role in supporting projects across the Asia Pacific region. In this capacity, I not only contributed to the day-to-day operations but also played a key role in developing the strategic direction for the region and individual countries. I ensured effective program design for disaster preparedness and response, aligning initiatives with the unique needs of each locale.My professional journey has allowed me to provide crucial technical support in Monitoring and Evaluation for large, multi-partner recovery and preparedness projects in diverse locations, including Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, India, the Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Haiti.I hold a postgraduate degree in statistics specializing in sampling techniques from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, India. This academic foundation has equipped me with a robust analytical toolkit, allowing me to approach challenges with a data-driven mindset.Passionate about contributing to positive change, I thrive in dynamic environments where my expertise can be harnessed to make a meaningful impact.
