Ranjan is co-founder of CauseBecause, India’s most credible medium in the sustainability domain, and a curator of Coffee for Cause, a focused conversations-centric event that brings together decision makers from CSR and sustainability arms of corporate groups and non-profits. He is also the facilitator of Silver Circle, a focused group of over 40 CSR professionals from some of the largest companies and foundations in India.With specialization in sustainability studies, development journalism and mass communication as well as marketing and advertising, Ranjan frequently interacts with sustainability and CSR heads at corporate groups as well as NGOs and foundations, and helps many of them in conceptualizing and implementing innovative CSR and sustainability strategies. Ranjan is also a part-time writer and regularly contributes to CauseBecause. On behalf of publishers and agencies, he has co-authored a few books including Brand Experience: A Marketing Mind-Game, the first book on experiential marketing in India, and Marketing Sarpanch, a book on contemporary rural marketing.
