As the Chief Financial Officer for Allegis Group India, I was responsible for managing the Corporate Function for all Allegis India Group Companies. In partnership with various Business Leaders, worked towards enabling growth and creating value for Stakeholders. From 2016 - 2023, we were able to grow the business by 2.5x and, convert loss-making business units to profit-making. Grew the Staffing business as a fully sustainable positive cashflow business, while the other business units entered a self-managed stage in India.Key responsibilities and Achievements include: 1. Transformed the mindset of talent in Corporate Function to “Winning through Partnership and Enablement” rather than “Compliance & Controlling”. 2. As the Director of Finance for Eurofins India, I was responsible for managing the Finance Function for 7 Legal Entities in India. Key Achievements include: 1. Transformed the Loss-Making Genomic Business in India to Profit-Making.2. Worked with Business Teams in India and Belgium to float Eurofins Pre-Natal Testing Business in India (B2C). 3. Grew Eurofins Global IT support from 200 Headcount to 700 Headcount in a span of 2 years.4. While managing the Finance Function for 7 Legal Entities in India with a team of 15 people, was successful in consolidating all Local Financials and Reporting in-line with APAC Group.5. Worked with Individual Business Heads to deliver on budgets and focus on growth. Acted as a key partner in identifying opportunity areas for growth.6. Set-up 4 new Testing Laboratories across India for Eurofins Analytical Business (Food) and grew their sales channel for Indirect business.7. P&L Ownership by optimizing cost and negotiating with vendors on cost and payment terms.8. Responsible for 1 successful takeover in 2016 with post-merger formalities and integration of books. 9. Involved in land acquisition and related formalities for lab set-ups and worked with Government agencies in ensuring approvals are available for timely completion.

As a Senior Business Finance Manager, I was responsible for running the Manufacturing & Hi-Tech (Line of Business) business unit of Wipro. Revenue of the Business Unit for the year 2013-2014 was USD 1.2Bn with 20% EBIT with quarterly growth delivered for 24 quarters. Key achievements include: 1. Instrumental in multiple large deal wins and working with sales teams across geographies.2. Handled end-to-end accounting and finance-related activities for the business unit. Revenue recognition as per US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, general ledger accounting of all cost-related items, revenue accounting and reconciliations, handling of accounts receivables and account payables. Was involved in the preparation of projected financials, cash flow forecasts, and working capital management.3. As a part of Deal negotiations, frequently traveled to US & Europe to work with clients on contracting and implementation plans for deals.4.
