Science enthusiast with 10+ years of experience in the field of biophysics. I design and perform experiments to help answer questions in biology. Seeking my next gig where I can bring my passion for research and innovation to the table!Having transitioned from physics to biology, I’ve gained expertise in a wide range of skills:• Mastered force spectroscopy techniques (AFM, Optical/Magnetic tweezers) to answer fundamental questions in molecular biology and genetics. • Established the use of single-molecule techniques to the field of cell and membrane biology in my current lab. • Conceptualized and designed a first-of-its-kind DNA-based nanosensor that quantifies inter-protein interactions on cell membranes. • Gained hands-on experience in a wide range of microscopy techniques. • Developed and implemented custom scripts in MATLAB and Python for data analysis, automation, and visualization. • Mentored 2 PhD students, 1 Masters student and several interns.Additionally, my strong people skills have helped me pursue my passion for science communication.
