MECHANICAL/PIPING ENGINEER HAVING 14+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN OIL & GAS CONSTRUCTIONJob Profile:Ensure construction activities are undertaken in accordance with Project needs in general and compatible with project safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives in particular.Key Result Areas / Responsibilities: Responsible to review the design engineering activities and specifications of all piping design,Piping Material, according to the requirements of the project, carried out by Contractor and Vendors/Subcontractors in all areas within the company according to national and international Codes and Standards. Provides review results and comments through Lead Engineer or direct to the Contractor as appropriate.Reviews and provides technical input and exchange design information to other related disciplines and ensuring the transfer of data and information among Contractor and Company in a smooth and timely, including but not limited to Tie-ins design engineering package and deviation/waiver requests from Contractor/Subcontractors, TQS and design change requests .Reviews and oversees the procurement and fabrication of the piping materials, to ensure the schedule, cost and quality standards are being met sufficiently with the shut-down activities and normal construction execution.Reviews and assists Quality Assurance/Quality Control for any required tests and inspection of the piping fabrication and installation.Supports construction by monitoring fabrication and erection activities, providing field engineering expertise on any installation problems.Responsible for the monitoring compliance and support of Company Safety, environment and Quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to his job as spelled out in Management system documentation, policies, procedures, local documentation, Management System Manual, Safety Manual and other related documents.
