Responsibilities includes at MSQ Improvement Project: As a Consultant –(1) Reviewed & Approved of WPS, PQR and Quality Assurance Plane & Quality Control documents.(2) Review and approve Non Destructive Examination (NDE) Procedures in order to confirm as per project specification and relevant International Standards and co-ordinating. Witness, evaluation and interpretation of NDT techniques like RT, UT, MT, & PT. Co-ordinate with NDT personal and making arrangement to complete the job in time.(3) Coordinate in conducting Quality Audits, finding the Non conformities and suggesting corrective action to resolve.(4) Reviewed Welding Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) in case of variation in the essentials variable with existing PQR, as per international standards and additional requirement of client.(5) Reviewed/Preparing welding Procedure Specification (WPS) with relevant qualified PQR for the particular projects.(6) Witness Welder Qualification Tests for various welding procedure specifications as per ASME section IX and ASME B31.3, API 1104, AWS D1.1 etc.(7) Coordinating with client & contractors inspection department at various stages of Inspection activities.(8) Conversant with International Codes like ASME section II, V, VIII, IX, ASME B31.3,AWS D1.1, API 1104,API 650 , ISO 5817, API 5L etc.(9) Coordinating with Material Controller for Incoming Materials Inspection of varies steel materials, valves, pipes, pipe fittings, consumables and equipments etc. with relevant documents like material test certificates. If required performing mechanical test and chemical analysis in order to confirm as per project specification and relevant International Standards.(10) Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification.
