Effective Manpower utilization • Responsible for managing 1 Engineer’s, 2 Assistant Engineer along with a fleet of 10 Mechanics, 3 Welders, 3 Auto electrician and 12 Helpers. Managing a fleet of 60 Equipment’s including Dumpers, Fork Lift, Wheel Loader, Back hoe loader, Tractor.• Implementing Call Centre in the service department and reducing the cycle time of the repair process going in field jobs.• Increasing customer satisfaction by implementing world standard service used in Repair process.• Working on succession planning of the workforce, shift management activities, appraising the member’s performance & providing feedback.• Allocating Technicians, Mechanics and trainees to their jobs based on high priority job basis.• Monitoring all the repair activities going in the workshop for avoiding unnecessary delays. Service & Parts Operations• Maintaining the machine history and updating the failures and availability of the machine.• Raising Warranty parts of failed items during warranty period of the machine and document for the required parts to re-commission the machine.• Claiming warranty for the Imported machines and Communicating with them for the Settling the Warranty issue• Arranging the parts for the Warranty Breakdown machines from OEM’s.• Maintaining the Warranty Breakdown Status of the Equipment’s.Operations & Maintenance• Attending the hydraulic problem for the Earthmoving Machines and troubleshooting for the same.• Planning and effecting predictive & preventive maintenance schedules for equipments; conducting periodic checks to ensure performance of various equipments.• Identifying areas of obstruction / defects and conducting service and repair to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.• Coordinating material / spare parts planning related activities encompassing identification of vendors, requirement specification & offer evaluation.
