Devops Engineer
Current• Managing servers for webhosting. It includes Shared, VPS and Dedicated servers of Linux based platform.• VPS creation using the OpenVZ based Virtuozzo and managing all its operations.• Perform software installations and configurations of Apache, DNS,NFS, MySql, FTP and provide high-level customer care, and technical support.• Installation of Nagios on dedicated server and managing services.• Experience on LVM and package management.• Installing,configuring and deploying Tomcat on production servers.• Implement effective customer satisfaction strategies by identifying and eliminating the root causes of customer problems.• Install and configure Revrese and Forward Proxy servers mainly Nginx and Varnish.• Kernel compile and upgrades.• Basic shell scripting to automate tasks.• Work on different types of control panels :- Cpanel/WHM, Plesk, Direct admin panel.• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and chat and handle escalations.• Achieving the target of chats to be handled per shift as well as tickets (customer problems on board) to be solved.• Handling server migration, troubleshooting, and managing MySql databases• Coordination with Data Center Operation team for issuance of server, OS reloads and reboots requests• Participated in system upgrades, migrations, application code deployments and patch management.• Installed and configured Zabbix Monitoring Environment.• Administraton of Openvz,Xen and KVM virtualized environment using SolusVm control panel.• Load balancing of HTTP traffic using HA-PROXY.
