• Experience in VERITAS NetBackup Administration (7.x and 8.x) Level 1 Support.• Configuring the NetBackup Policies for both OS and Database• Configuration of Archive backup policy to archive the files.• Configuration of Storage Units.• Installation of client software in windows and Unix Servers.• Installation of Media Server Software on Windows and UNIX Servers.• Configuration of Drives and Robot on Media/Master Servers.• Working on the Backup Requests.• Scheduling the Backup jobs according to the client requirement and adjusting the schedule accordingly.• Working on the Restoration requests.• Recalling Media from offsite as per restore requests.• Experience in Migration Project from our location to another location.• Movement of Medias from One Location to another for Migration.• Importing Images through Command Line or GUI from One Master Server to another Master Server for restoration purpose.• Insertion of scratch Medias into the Tape library on every alternate day.• Monitoring of servers performance and backup scheduling activities.• Level 1 troubleshooting for tape drives and Medias.• Level 1 troubleshooting on various Issues during Linux, Windows, Oracle DB, MS Exchange Backups and the Restoration requests.• Installation and Up gradation of NetBackup client software.• Coordinating with IBM for Tape library hardware replacement and RCA investigation.• Escalation to Next support team for chronic issues.
