I have graduated with 1st Class in Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from L. D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad, one of the premier engineering institutes at its time in Gujarat. After graduation, I worked as a Trainee Engineer at Digvijay Cement Company. I was introduced to the Steel Industry when I started training at Hindustan Steel Ltd., Bhilai (presently known as Steel Authority of India Ltd.) for Production & Quality Control of TORSTEEL. During my service with Torsteel Research Foundation India (Unit of Tor-Isteg Steel Corporation of Luxembourg), I was involved in commissioning of TORSTEEL production at more than 20 Rolling Mills in Western India as well as at Desbro International, Mauritius.In January 1980, I embarked on a journey that has been dedicated to the betterment of Steel Rolling Industry. Steel Rolling Technology is complicated and ever evolving and it has been my endeavor to provide with the latest technological solution in a cost effective manner.
