We work with industry, government and other partners to help projects achieve their energy and efficiency goals while meeting the Net-Zero 2050 targets.PTRC's Aquistore Project is the world's best full-scale field lab for CO2 storage. We have stored close to 600K tons of CO2 safely and permanently underground. We are also developing new technologies and processes to reduce the carbon footprint of subsurface energy.PTRC is exploring the potential of Geothermal energy for district heating in Western Canada. We are conducting feasibility studies and research to create a new Geothermal economy. Current projects - City of Regina new aquatic centre and City of Estevan geothermal feasibility study. PTRC also funding new Blue Hydrogen research program at Saskatchewan universities and started exploring Compress Air Energy Storage (CAES) potential for lower emission power generation using salt caverns in Saskatchewan. PTRC is collaborating with international CCUS projects in countries like USA, Vietnam, Japan, India, UAE and European Union. We are sharing our expertise and real-time learnings from Aquistore project to advance CCUS and globally.

This initiative has created over $360 million dollars of new economy for Indigenous vendors and communities since 2014.Lead Negotiator: Regarding historic settlement over the flooding claim by Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN), which involved Saskatchewan, SaskPower and Canada. The claim was related to the Whitesand Dam on Reindeer Lake flooding a portion of the nearby community of Southend.Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Experience: I have led the business development and mobilization of CCS to India, as part of SaskPower’s Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Mobilization to India Initiative. This initiative aims to build partnerships with Indian thermal utilities and share SaskPower’s expertise and experience in CCS technology.Hydro Development Experience: I have managed the proposed Tazi Twé Hydroelectric Project, a water diversion hydroelectric project located on reserve land designated by the Black Lake First Nation. This project has a CAPEX of $600-700 million and involves transmission interconnection, telecommunications, construction/distribution power, Aboriginal employment and training program, Aboriginal business investment projects, and managing diverse functional teams and contractors. I have also developed and implemented an employment and training program for 64 First Nation members in Black Lake First Nation.

Business Renewal Project:I was responsible for leading the second phase of the Business Renewal Project, which aimed to improve the operational efficiency and reduce the OM&A costs for the organization. I guided the SME(s) in conducting benchmarking studies for both operational and non-operational business units, and compared SaskPower's performance with other global utility peers. I delegated project tasks and supervised the work of Strategic Planning Analyst, Financial Analyst, and other internal and external project members.I identified annual savings and proposed 29 performance improvement initiatives and established KPIs for measuring the corporate performance.SaskPower Rate 2010 Application: I oversaw the Rate Application process and helped to increase the revenue by $60 million by doing competitor analysis and research on Rate Applications and Fuel Adjustment Mechanisms from other utilities across Canada.
