For those just tuning in, OpenShift is our hybrid cloud application dynamo powered by Kubernetes.As the Principal Agile Delivery Lead, I spearheaded efforts to redefine our agile methodologies, adapting to a globally distributed team - a testament to Red Hat's incredible open culture that knows no boundaries.Our mission? To elevate OpenShift, a beacon in tech that not only simplifies software creation but also propels developers with top-tier tools and unmatched support. Worked on a major initiative known as the ‘Common Securitization Platform’ (CSP) - building a new infrastructure for the secondary mortgage market. The Common Securitization Platform (CSP) is a joint venture owned by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. CSS will act as each Enterprise’s agent to facilitate issuance of single-family mortgage securities, to release related at-issuance and ongoing disclosures, and to administer the securities post-issuance. Responsible for analysis and execution of the project that would - 1) Move existing back office functions to a new platform that would use standard interfaces. 2) Require modifying surrounding legacy systems to use the platform’s standard services and interfaces. 3) Allow for incremental testing of development versions to mitigate integration and execution risk.

Responsible for program planning and execution SAT Redesign which involved multiple projects and vendors such as ETS, XEROX, Pearson and geographically spread out team at College Board. Ensured the program schedule was driver of multiple project plans and milestones through weekly coordination meetings. Lead sessions to solution moving data to the cloud to gain efficiencies of scale and speed that would house the several terabytes of scoring data and run complex algorithms that determine the complexity and percentile scores.

Responsible for project planning and execution of the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP), which was designed to help at, risk homeowners by providing the borrower with affordable and sustainable monthly payments. The program was quite complex as it-involved coordination between various government agencies and hundreds of mortgage servicers (banks) and technology partners. Managed external vendor relationships to ensure the deliverables and SLAs were met in a timely fashion. Monitored client expectations, educated clients and stakeholders on the benefits and risks associated with the project. Prioritized project scope, enhancement requests and outstanding defects by facilitating the ‘Change Request’ and ‘Defect Review’ sessions.

Promontory had three financial products – CDARS, ICS and IND. More than 3,000 financial institutions use one or both of these services to enhance their profitability, attract large-dollar deposits, and/or obtain cost-effective wholesale funding. Each week there are billions of dollars flowing through the system between various participating financial institutions. Banks utilize these products as a replacement to cumbersome repo sweeps. These products allow them to provide their customers with access to multi-million-dollar FDIC insurance and assets previously used as collateral earn higher returns.

In response to new accounting policies for the Restatement Period, the Securities Accounting Team introduced new Accounting Data Warehouse and re-execute certain accounting processes to obtain a restated cost basis and fair value of its mortgage-related portfolio. The project involves bringing in data from the accounting databases as well as other data marts across Fannie Mae to populate in the new data warehouse used by the Finance team.

Since most of the companies that offering offshore development services focused on large businesses, the business had fast traction in the Washington DC- Metro Area. With offshore development centers in Chennai & Delhi and several other offshore partners, specializing in niche areas our company was able to offer wide variety of service offerings.
