A well experienced operations professional having more than 25 years of experience in Supply Chain & Logistics 20yrs of which was with the Global multinational TNT where i had the opportunity to handle the International Express distribution & Freight forwarding arm of the business and as the business grew over the years added on the Domestic side managing both Road & Air . In TNT I had the opportunity to move to different verticals in operations both on the International & Domestic side . I became well experienced in Pickup & Delivery Operations , Gateway Operations which included Import & Export customs clearance , Linehaul & Network Development , Setting up & managing large scale Warehouse Operations for TNT Nokia IMC & finally managing the entire North & East regional Operations for TNT India . Did a short but valuable stint in Shree Maruti Couriers where i managed the entire Domestic Network operations as General Manager across India as part of the core management team . Subsequently took up a role in Shopclues one of India's largest online marketplace Ecommerce sites managing the entire Logistics & Fulfilment operations across India before taking up the current role of Head supply Chain for Homeshop18 & Shop CJ India's largest TV shopping Network . In Both Shopclues & Homeshop18 responsible for Setting up and managing large Forward & Reverse Warehouse & Fulfilment Centres , designing and providing packaging solutions , creating a network of 30+ 3rd Party courier service partners connecting 19000 Plus pin codes across India to cater to forward and reverse logistics , creating lean teams using a high level of process & technology , Responsible for implementing and delivering on the KRA's , P&L set for the supply chain to meet business objectives
