1987 – Media Assistant Trainee with MAA Communications, Bangalore. 1988 – Kanara Advertising, Chennai as an Account Executive, dealing with FMCG brands like Polar Fans and Crompton Greaves for their dealer-based local advertising and loyalty campaigns, handling print and outdoor media. 1990 – Century Advertising, Client Servicing for accounts like Brilliant Tutorials and Brilliant’s Computer Centre (1st Computers). Was also handling the creative press and direct marketing campaigns for Century Direct – India’s first call center to handle classified advertising for The Hindu. 1993 – Whirlwind Communications as a Creative Head, managing the creative and servicing functions for Brilliant Tutorials, Kerala Fashion Jewelry and Christian Broadcasting Network to name a few. Also headed a unit within Direct Dialog - setup to handle tele-responses for complaints for desktops sold by HCL Frontline, the distribution arm of HCL Info Systems. The call-center was extended to cater for investors in the primary markets and real estate.1999 – Rage Communications, Chennai for online web design & development. Over the last 15 years has designed, coded and deployed numerous B2B, B2C and ecommerce websites, and continues to head the creative department for the front-end web user interfaces & user experience wireframes and designs. Over the last 2 years have worked on Citibank’s Global Mobile user experience wireframes, production guides and asset creation. Heading the Digital Design Hub for Rage, that creates user experience flows for the post-login functions of Citibank Online for the Global and the APAC region, before they are sent for front-end and back-end development. – Spent the first 12 years in the advertising industry, covering account management, creative design, and BTL.– Spearheads Creative and Usability functions at Rage for the past 15 years.Specialties: Web Design User Interfaces, User Experience and User Centric Architecture & Design.
