I had joined the Indian Railway on dated 04.02.1989 as a Junior Engineer (Elect) to maintain Diesel electric locomotives.I have about 31 years experience in this field.My job skills are as under:-* To look after and supervise the complete dismantling, overhauling and assembling work o Diesel electric locomotives of different types and make them ready for passsenger and goods services.* To supervise the complete dismantling, overhauling and assembly work of traction generators, auxiliary generators/2 exciter generators, traction motors of different types and small DC motors.* To supervise the complete overhauling and testing work of relays,contactors,electric panels, circuit breakers, temperature and pressure switches and also * To supervise the material planning, inspection works of stores for use of locomotives.* To supervise the man power planning for different works.*To supervise and monitoring of different Make heavy duty batteries for preparation of electrotye, intitial charging and commissioning for use on locomotives.* To supervise the maintenance work of EOT cranes,puller cranes, hoist, jecks etc.* To supervise the operation and maintenance work of air compressors.* To supervise and monitor the cleaning,insulating varnishing and baking works of electric generator and motors.* To monitor, supervise and manage the maintenance & testing work of high speed DEMU engine and racks.* To plan and ensure the proper safety measures during different maintenance works on locomotives and work shops.
