• Manage suppliers, cost, quality, and delivery performance of MRO and Food Industry.• Category Classification of Food items, Stationary, Casting Parts, Fabrication parts, machining, and sheet metal parts in right sub categories. • Reach out to cross-functional teams to understand company-wide needs and evaluate suppliers• Implementations of cost saving procedures. • Good experience in sourcing/ development of plastic parts (ABS /Polypropylene• New Vendor development• Make the product production ready within the cost targets.• Good experience on dealing with suppliers for technical aspects, understand costing to support the customer for pricing negotiation.• Drive everyone to make sure parts are available to meet schedule.• Preparation of Project Specific Vendor list for the approval of the client.• Pre-qualification of the Potential Suppliers not appearing in the Approved Vendor List.• Vendor development, sourcing and Identifying new vendors.• Arrange Pre-award technical meetings involving the Engineering, Project Manager and Supplier representatives to freeze the technical requirement. • Submit Pre-Qualification documents and review / recommendation for COMPANY approval where necessary• Prepare LOI / Purchase Order • Co-ordinate P.O changes• Preparation & analysis of actual cost v/s estimated cost.
