A global defence expert and lecturer with over 35 years’ experience, Ran has designed and led hundreds of protection and counter-terrorism projects for military, governmental, industrial, and private clients worldwide. A former IDF officer, Ran served in managerial and marketing management roles at various security and protection companies. As a terror wave swept through Israel and the US during the early 2000’s and had a wider global effect in the following decade, Ran sought unconventional next-level protection solutions and established Ortech.
