Deposition reporters are responsible for taking down the verbatim testimony of arbitrations, depositions, court hearings, and other legal proceedings. We use specialized equipment and training to transcribe the spoken word into a written format. We are trained to write at speeds up to 240 words per minute. Reporters must maintain a high degree of accuracy to ensure that the transcript is accurate. We are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the record and ensuring that the transcript is true and complete.

I have graduated South Coast College in January of 2022, and I am currently preparing for the California State exam, the CSR, in July.
