Operational Responsibilities–● Quarterly Review of Balance sheet analysis to ensure financial statements looks accurate and reasonable each quarter. Suggest reclasses when necessary● Mapping of financial information to relevant Financial Reporting templates● Support various lines of business & Legal entity controllers with performance reporting and other query resolution● Ensure financial Integrity of General Ledger data by performing control checks & follow ups as required in line with the reporting requirement● Liaison with auditors (internal & external) and responding to their queries● Preparation and review responsibilities of Month end Accounting, Balance sheet account reconciliations and reporting of open Items to CFO’s.● Preparation and updating of process documentation to keep it up to date all the time.● Doing research, investigations and analysis, hence trying to analyze things in detail with an underlying logic● Manage responses to queries from clients and auditors.● Monthly review of the P&L and balance sheet and commentary for the key products● Good working knowledge of Oracle General Ledger.Managerial Responsibilities–● Preparing MIS reports & other statements with a view to apprise management of the process operations and assist in critical decision-making process● Primary review of the work performed within the team ensuring adherence to timetable and work plan and maintaining of a high quality of the deliverable.● Managing client relationship and handle first level escalations, Proactively seeking client feedback to further improve service level standards● Reviewing master task list of Recs and close to ensure all efforts are mirrored with SOW.People Management Role -● Implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation in Team● Monitoring performance & providing feedback on areas of improvement.● Performing annual and mid-year performance appraisal exercise for subordinates.
