• Organize public appearances, lectures, contests and exhibits to increase product awareness.• Expand company recognition in the local press to support the sales and marketing teams.• Manage all media, press and public relations issues.• Manage the editorial content, design and distribution of the external company newsletter.• Work with management to identify trends and developments that might influence PR decisions and strategies.• Establish long-range objectives and develop innovative strategies to help achieve them.• Cultivate positive relationships with the community through public relations campaigns.• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employee and public interest groups.• Design web and other content, including monthly newsletters and promotional calendars.
