Hi, I'm Ran! I currently work as an Events and Promotion Officer for the Carbon Neutrality and Climate Change (CNCC) Thrust, Hong Kong University of Technology and Science (Guangzhou). My job includes organizing and managing academic events (seminar, workshop, conference, etc.) and the thrust's official social media account.I am also the co-producer and co-host of the Chinese podcast: 河对岸Opposite to Genius. It's on Apple Podcast, Spotify and other RSS feed podcast platforms. We discuss topics like gender, society, culture and education.Before, I worked as a news editor at Southern Finance Omnimedia Corp., which is a news outlet with a focus on business and finance in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. I was under the international communication department, and was in charge of managing English contents of the news outlet. My job included writing, editing in English, planning contents, running social media accounts, and conducting on-site interviews.I have a ragdoll cat named Luna. She's super tender and caring, but a little bit too shy : ) She's my favorite creature on the planet.
