Sr Technical / Feature Lead
Support Trino (Presto) which is a distributed SQL query engine tool connects to various data sources like Hadoop, SQL server, Oracle, Teradata etc. Support the tool as an admin and work with Platform and Spectrum Grid support for LLE and Prod deployments. Works with Vendor Starburst and responsible for GRA Trino cluster (130 nodes) maintenance, administration, version upgrades and support. Working on Starburst Trino version upgrade from 370 LTS to 407 LTS. Create/support connections to various data sources (Hadoop, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server), create Materialized views and support Tableau reports. Support business users, monitor Trino performance, fine tune user queries etc.Managed and supported Basel III calculators for Securities and Retail workstreams. Migrated code base from Teradata, UNIX to Netezza, UNIX, Informatica platform in 2015. Worked on Database conversion project from Netezza to Oracle Exadata platform in 2018.Interface with various lines of businesses, get the exposure data, calculate risk weight assets, capital ratios etc..using BASEL III rules. Work with business users and business Analysts, get the requirements and implement viable technical solutions. Follow agile methodology in development and implementation. Support any Audit related questions.
