I was primarily responsible for the feature set and product definition for the cloud/datacenter infrastructure. I developed expertise inbuilding large scale compute, storage and networking systems by working hands-on with large cloud properties. The datacenter paradigm has resulted in a confluence of these technologies in addition to a new ways of deploying and building software. I spent a large amount of my time working with people/companies tackling these problems.In this process I have developed a detailed understanding of challenges and techniques related to scale-out architectures necessary to deploy cloud-scale applications. I led a seasoned engineering team to define AMD's products targeted to cloud computing.I drove customer engagements related to datacenter trends & applications and mapped them to AMD's future product offerings. As part of this role I worked closely with the business, product development and sales teams to determine the ideal way to position our products against the competition resulting in contracts in excess of $90 million.I managed teams to design and develop multiple generations of AMD's microprocessors. I developed staffing requirements, mentored experienced staff, set goals and effectively managed their performance.I championed the SOC and Synthesis methodology of deign at AMD and in the process led a cross-functional, cross-geographical team of about 50 people.

I led a team of 10 people and developed the global timing and signalintegrity strategy for a 10 million gate chip. I collaborated withcustomers to define and integrate new features into the product.

I founded this company, created the vision and built a team from ground-up. The primary focus for this company was to define and introduce a patent-pending enterprise security framework forintellectual property.I developed the business plan and articulated the value proposition to potential investors. As part of building a cost-effective solution, I implemented the outsourcing business model which was still uncommon in those times.I defined product offerings and delivery models as part of developing the marketing and sales strategies.

Ihold four patents, four publications and seven awards as a result ofmy efforts on various aspects of the microprocessor design process.
