Responsible for all accounting, audit and internal control, financial reporting (both internal and SEC required reporting), corporate finance, FP&A, real estate, IT and legal affairs functions. Identified corporate and restaurant-level operating performance improvements that should increase company operating margins by over 20% without any visible impact to the guests or franchisees.Developed a comprehensive IT strategy that will improve restaurant-level operating margins, enhance business intelligence and reduce receivables by over 80% with a projected ROIC in excess of 200% per annum. Led comprehensive overhaul of company's franchise documents addressing multiple critical deficiencies. Developed international franchise documents and negotiated the company's first truly international development in the United Arab Emirates. Renegotiated a $30mm credit facility to enhance balance sheet flexibility and increase capital allocation options.
