At the age of 5, I was already telling my mom I would have my own company.I badly failed at school and didn't even make it to a typical high school. I just didn't like school and thought it was a waste of time.At 16, I opened my very first (official) company.At 22, my first baby showed up, and I had to work to feed my family.At 25, I was helping someone to open a company in Montreal, where I moved pretty fast. And with very little to no experience I had, I managed that company learning it the hard way for many years without being an owner and with a tiny salary.But at 31, I decided I had enough and that it was time for me to have my own company. I was ready to deal with 100% of uncertainty. But the opportunity to buy the company I was in showed up, and I took it with my new business partner.We got into business with a massive 7-figure debt to pay and with about ten employees. We wanted to change our business model and offer programming services.- Within 12 months of the adventure, I had to deal with a lung tumour, which I'd beaten.- My dad got brain surgery almost at the same time.- In 18 months, we paid our 7-figures debt and never had a debt after.- In 3 years, we almost doubled the company size.- In 2015, we created the brand SimplyPHP and focussed 100% on it.- 6 years later, we were 50 in the company and had more than doubled the revenue.
