I am a reservoir engineer with more than 20 years of petroleum engineering experience in technical and operational roles of upstream oil and gas. These include conventional and unconventional reservoirs in exploration and development projects in North America, Latin America and Asia. My assignments in different areas of exploration and production have helped foster an integrated, multi-discipline approach to better understand the subsurface, build more robust dynamic reservoir models and be effective in subsurface team leadership. As a highly engaged and motivated team player I put focus on knowledge sharing, mentoring / learning with others, and brainstorming with peers to propose innovative solutions for complex technical challenges. Seeking to achieve technical excellence, I hold 3 US patents and have 20 technical publications.

Reservor EngineerSchlumberger May 2015 - Sep 2018Argentina, Saudi ArabiaDeveloped reservoir simulation and analytical reservoir models for shale reservoirs in Argentina and Saudi Arabia. Field development-focused projects included the Saudi Arabia shale condensate (Jafurah) and tight gas reservoirs (Mazelich), while the field asset evaluation projects were the Vaca Muerta (Argentina) across the spectrum of hydrocarbon fluid types. In addition to the above, scope also included reservoir engineering studies for production optimization of conventional reservoir brownfields.Created and successfully executed global "Integration and Collaboration" workshops around the world as Schlumberger Unconventional Global Technical Community co-leader. -
Unconventional Resources Manager (Northern Latin America)Schlumberger Dec 2012 - Apr 2015ColombiaSuccessfully led first shale hydraulic fracture exploration projects in Colombia, formulating and executing this effort across the technical and operational value-chain as project manager of subject-matter surface and sub-surface experts. Created and successfully executed multiple technical seminars, workshops and training forums for oil companies with acreage in Colombia -
Reservoir EngineerSchlumberger Oct 2008 - Nov 2012UsaFull-field reservoir simulation projects including west Texas carbonates, and shale gas, shale oil, shale condensate fields both USA and internationally. Created shale reservoir training material and taught Schlumberger employees in high intensity training programmes: successfully trained personnel to contribute independently during a period of high activity -
Reservoir EngineerSchlumberger Dec 2005 - Sep 2008Brazil, AngolaReservoir productivity prediction in horizontal wells through reservoir simulation and data integration, formation pressure transient analysis in offshore deviated and horizontal wells, and placement of horizontal wells through real-time reservoir modeling. -
PetrophysicistSchlumberger Mar 2002 - Nov 2005Mexico, IndiaLed formation evaluation projects across the range of clastics and carbonate reservoirs, integrating core, open-hole / cased-hole well logs and drilling data. Objectives included characterization of open-hole hydrocarbon targets with input into subsequent completion design, identification and exploitation of behind-pipe hydrocarbons in brownfields using cased-hole technology and geomechanics interpretations for optimizing well designs -
