Database administration: Responsible for providing support for the core Banking Applications and related applications including HR Systems and other third party systems. Responsible for performance, integrity and security aspects of the companies’ Oracle and SQL Databases and applications.  Database user access management.  Database backup and replication (Data guard) management and administration.  Resolution of all ad-hoc application functional requests/issues raised by the business.  Installing and maintaining databases and applications (Aruti HR systems and Orbit-R Core banking application systems) New products setup on the core banking application. HR systems administration and maintenance.  Report design, SQL script writing and configuration of the core banking system and database. Handling all database audit issues Setting up and testing new databases and data handling systems.Applications: Responsible for providing support for the core banking, Mobile and agency banking applications and related applications including Aruti HR systems and other third party systems. Linking up with business departments in relation to new products setup on the core banking system Working closely with regional reporting and support team to ensure business reports are available and ensuring that all users are supported and can effectively use the core banking system and applications.
