Assigned as Area Reliability Engineer on newly constructed Refinery Master plan Phase-2 of Petron Bataan Refinery. ⦁ Performs routine plant inspection and monitors the issues of the equipment based on criticality. ⦁ Measures equipment reliability by recording the monthly KPI’s (key performance indices)⦁ Evaluates the integrity of equipment through the use of different NDT (Non destructive testing) techniques.⦁ Collects data and history of an equipment that can be used for the analysis and detection of the root cause of a failure.⦁ Provides recommendations and programs that may improve or enhance the availability and reliability of equipment and monitors if these are implemented.Other Duties and Responsibilities:⦁ Conducts Hydrotest inspection on equipment such as newly fabricated piping or opened pressured vessels and passes them as per standards.⦁ Facilitate annual renewal of Permit to Operate Certificates of power piping, pressure vessels, engines, cranes, elevators, etc. of Production B of the refinery as mandated by Department of Labor and Employment.

Reviewed documents such as the lay out plan, general assembly drawing of mechanical equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, fired heaters etc.), piping isometric drawings, insulation plans which will be used in the construction of oil processing units in accordance with the job specifications, applicable international codes and Exxon Mobil downstream Global PracticesMonitored mainly the construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning of coker gas oil hydrotreating facility and assisted on monitoring other units such as Vacuum Pipestill Unit, Propylene Recovery unit and LPG Treating Unit.

Evaluate the energy consumption of the existing HVAC system in one of the buildings of MERALCO and provide recommendations for improvement and energy savings
