A 25-year consulting veteran and former IBM General Manager, Raphael has been responsible for the strategy, execution and results of many large businesses globally. He also held various positions in marketing and sales and developed an extensive experience in merger and acquisition.As IBM senior executive, Raphael directed lately the integration of Promontory Financial Group, a leading consulting firm operating at the intersection of strategy, risk management and regulatory compliance. Raphael's mission was to combine Promontory’s deep industry expertise with cognitive technologies and global capabilities to create a unique set of solutions that helped financial institutions solve their most complex business challengesPrior to this role, Raphael led a team of more than 5,000 consultants who helped major financial services and insurance firms throughout North America adapt to the digital age by redesigning their operations to incorporate the best of emerging cloud and cognitive computing solutions. Raphael also spent three years in Asia where he managed a team of 1,200 consultants operating in countries like Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. In 2008, Raphael was appointed General Manager for IBM in France and North Africa, where he led for four years a team of 3,000 consultants and practitioners.
