Leading RSN's research on responsible minerals supply chains, I increased the scope of our work to cobalt and lithium. Lead author and researcher of the 2019 edition of Mining the Disclosures, analyzing disclosures under Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, focused on 3TG uses. This edition also analyzes corporate public information on cobalt due diligence though 24 brand companies in the ICT, jet engines and automotive sectors. Represent RSN at the PPA, including the reviewing of project proposals, and the EPRM in which I joined the cobalt strategic team.

As consultant, I have taken the lead of the conflict minerals program at Responsible Sourcing Network. - Research and write the Mining the Disclosure 2017 and Mining the Disclosures 2018 reports. These reports are year-on-year evaluations of 206 companies’ due diligence programs on the challenge of conflict minerals, including risk management, human rights impact, and reporting quality. It ranks around 1/3 of the US market value following 25 indicators. - Organize and present the launch webinar in coordination with our sponsor - Present the report at different events, including the Responsible Minerals Initiative Annual Conference, the Net Impact Conference, the Assent Supplier Summit Series, the Automobile Industry Action Group and the University of Ghent. - Represents RSN in multi-stakeholders initiatives, including the European Partnership for Responsible Minerals (EPRM) and the Public Private Alliance for Responsible Minerals Trade (PPA).

External consultant to support three projects of the non-profit, including (1) definition of the intervention in the context of the UNEP Global Environmental Facility’s GOLD ++ projects in Guinea and Cote d’Ivoire regarding mercury reduction in ASM gold mining; (2) definition and implementation of CSR engagement in the cobalt sector by a downstream technology company; (3) management of a project on cobalt mining, women's empowerment and child labor.

Research project on the artisanal extraction of gold in Burkina Faso and the coexistence with agricultural practices. The study explores the existing socio-economic and environmental impacts of gold mining, the current legal framework surrounding it, and provides recommendations for improvement. As part of the EU Regulation 2017/821, the project also highlights risks for supply chains, including child labor, financing of armed groups and corruption.

Research-based position providing research on responsible sourcing issues and publishing a monthly deliverable to client companies.

The RCS Global Group is a leader in data-driven responsible sourcing of natural resources, with a particular focus on 3TGs, battery minerals (cobalt, lithium and nickel), copper and diamond. - Performed the first Pilot RMI audits on DRC cobalt treatment units. - Develop OECD-aligned 3Ts and cobalt due diligence systems tailored to companies' needs depending on their position in the supply chain. These frameworks answer to reputational and other material risks and provide companies with identification, assessment and mitigation, as well as public reporting, tools. - Lead cobalt supply chain mapping projects with clients among the largest auto and ICT companies. As the contact person between the client, its supply chain and the RCS Global audit team, I am managing the project from tier 1 to the extractive site. - Research and develop multi-commodities monitor providing clients with the latest updates in responsible sourcing, regulatory updates and industry news of the 38 OECD-listed minerals. - In charge of the management of the Better Sourcing Program monitoring project of tantalum sites in North Kivu and the exports of minerals from the mine sites to the refiners in Asia. - Support RCS Global Group and its different entities with administrative or research work.

Research assistant of Professor Hany Besada on resource governance in Africa. Worked on a book manuscript on natural resource governance regarding foreign-owned companies in three African countries. Worked on a partnership between the University of Ottawa, Canada and the University of Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan to develop their African studies and extractive industries program.

Support Dr. Hany Besada's research on behalf of the UN Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) hosted by UNDP. The research will feed the first UNOSSC report on South South and Triangular Cooperation.

Researched conflict minerals in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the impacts of the Dodd Frank Act Section 1502 on mineral trade from Central Africa. Extensively studied the due diligence process under the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. Involved in lobbying at the U.S Congress regarding anti-corruption and anti-money laundering issues.

Researched and wrote countries' facts sheets about the World Bank agricultural policies. Wrote blog posts about Norfund projects in Tanzania. Translated reports from English to French.

Researched and wrote report about the slaughter of Pygmies in the Katanga province. Researched contacts, met with political (embassies, representatives, ...) and traditional leaders. Developed the methodology for the second edition of the Atlas of Indigenous People in DRC. Translated articles and communications from French to English.
