Improving resilience of GoPro Hero class cameras firmware by moving display management and input handling from RTOS to embedded Linux.- Developed Linux drivers to enable double / triple buffering to be performed from both Linux and RTOS.- Developed a custom way to share interrupts between Linux and RTOS to implement Vsync on both.- Working with message queues, inter-CPU and IPC communication to decrease input latency.- Dealing with memory mapping and shared cached memory between RTOS and Linux to increase frame rate.Working in a multicore ARM based environment with integrated ISP and image processing hardware blocks.- Editing Linux kernel build to add missing modules and edit device tree.
